After retiring in 2019 from a long and much loved career in the surf industry, Tracey decided to fulfill her life goal of finishing her college degree and create a new chapter rooted in sex positivity, wellness, and community service here in the desert.
While Covid was in full swing, she earned her 500 hour yoga teacher training certificate and began writing professionally. She found success writing a male/male erotic romance novel and several one shot short stories. Passages from those early spicy and humor laden pieces landed her a career as a sex and relationship columnist for the LGBTQ+ underwear brand, Andrew Christian.
Currently, she is a senior at Cal Poly Humboldt in the Leadership Studies program and is on track to graduate with a BA in December 2026. She is also in classes training to become a sex and relationship educator. She's a full time yoga teacher. Teaching between a gym and her own business, which she owns with a partner, called "Poolside Yoga" in Palm Springs. She is an active member of both The Palm Springs Leather Order of the Desert, a fetish and kink organization with philanthropy at its core, and the Palm Springs Women's Club, also dedicated to giving back to the local community.
Her goals for post degree are to learn how to take her expertise honed from her years working as a sex columnist and writing erotic fiction, into having a late in life career as a sex therapist/educator. Bringing in elements from yoga and body acceptance to help people release what is holding them back from finding a satisfying and balanced relationship with romance, dating, partnership, and sexual relations.
As a member of the Board of Directors at PS Test, Tracey is passionate about expanding access to stigma free and compassionate STI testing and education in the Valley. She wants us all to approach sexual health with curiosity, excitement, and zero shame.
