Dr. David Magilke is a retired physician/surgeon from Portland, Oregon. He received his BA in Chemistry from the University of Oregon, his MD from the Oregon Health Sciences University and completed his surgical residency in Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center.

He sub-specialized in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery, and owned and operated the Portland Face Doctor clinic. He practiced medicine for over 25 years, before retiring in 2024. He is a supporter of the arts, and was on the board of Whitebird Dance for 17 years.

He has also been a supporter of the Cascade AIDS Project and OurHouse. He is an avid traveler, hiker and walker. Dr. Magilke and his husband our proud parents of college-age twins, which they visit frequently. He currently lives part time in Palm Springs and Rhododendron, Oregon.
